Mooncandy

Sweet like a kitten in the dark
you look at the food in the hand

wondering who will win…
your hunger or fear?

Biting your lips red like roses
your raven hair caresses the cheeks

Your curled up body wishes to fly
and fancies to touch with a finger the sky

No longer you have memory of dying once
in hugs that never end you desire to hide

Humble and happy under the pale moon
you are so grateful for the beauty of love

You gaze at the colors playful and changing
your heart once cold feels alive and warming

Little do you know that lady Mary moon
already cuddles you in the fairie’s wings
